Nowadays, air compressors are needed in many industries, and most industries require air compressors to be water-free. Therefore, the drain valve is a very important part of the air compressor system.
Usually, when the air compressor is working, a relatively high temperature will be generated inside the head, and the moisture in the air in the working environment will be sucked in. When the air compressor is running, this moisture will form water vapor. When the compressed air passes through the air storage tank, when the high-speed airflow hits the air storage tank, it not only obtains a space for buffering and storing air, but also obtains the effect of decompression and cooling. A large amount of water vapor liquefies, forming condensed water. . When the weather is humid or in the rainy season or winter, there will be more condensation.
If water is not drained in time, pipeline pressure will increase, corrosion will occur, and pipeline leakage will increase costs. It will also make the oil and gas separation effect worse, damage the gas equipment, and even cause the machine parts to rust and reduce the service life.
Therefore, it is necessary to install an automatic drain valve to achieve the purpose of drainage and maintain the safe and normal operation of the system. Drain valves are divided into electronic drains and physical drains.
The principle of the electronic drainer is that the opening and closing of the solenoid valve can be set through the switch above to adjust the opening and cycle of automatic drainage.

The physical drainer relies on the buoyancy of the float in the drainer to open the drainer. When the liquid level rises, the float rises accordingly, and the valve will automatically open.

Drainers are generally suitable for installation in high, low or narrow places where manual drainage is inconvenient. They can also effectively avoid secondary contamination of compressed air by condensed water.
