1. Spool Quality
Spool Quality is the main cause of movement delay. Therefore, reducing the mass of the spool can reduce the inertial force, thereby improving the response speed of the solenoid valve; but because the small spool brings small size and small electromagnetic driving force, the quality of the spool cannot be considered solely.
2. Spool travel and magnetic circuit length
The stroke of the spool is an important parameter affecting the switching time, because the shorter the stroke of the spool, the shorter the motion delay, and at the same time reducing the stroke can reduce the air gap length of the magnetic circuit, so that the magnetic resistance can be reduced to improve the electromagnetic driving force as purpose. However, under the condition of constant flow, reducing the stroke will increase the flow rate, which will require increasing the strength of the valve core, that inquires to increase the size of the valve core, resulting in an increase in the quality of the valve core. At the same time, reducing the stroke will make the valve open The degree decreases and the flow rate decreases. Therefore, the determination of the parameter stroke of the spool should be considered comprehensively with the flow rate of the valve.

3. Coil turns
The essence of the influence of the number of turns of the coil lies in the inductance. The number of turns is large, the inductance L is large, the electromagnetic attraction is large, and the moving iron core obtains a large acceleration. But on the other hand, the time constant of the transition process is also large, the current response is slow, and the growth of the magnetomotive force is slow. It can be seen that too many or too few coil turns are not conducive to the rapid action of the solenoid valve.
4. Coil resistance
The larger the coil resistance, the smaller the valve coil current, the longer the opening and closing time, and the slower the response speed of the current, so the coil resistance should be reduced as much as possible, and the appropriate enameled wire type should be selected.
5. Coil voltage
The greater the coil voltage, the greater the coil current, the greater the obtained electromagnetic force, and the significantly faster switching speed of the solenoid valve. But when the voltage reaches a certain value, due to the saturation of the magnetic circuit, the magnetic flux will no longer increase, and the electromagnetic force will no longer change. As the voltage increases, the heat generation of the solenoid valve also increases, which affects the service life of the electromagnet. So it's best to select the right voltage for certain model solenoid valve.
6. Materials
Due to the magnetic saturation phenomenon of the magnetizer itself, the relationship between the magnetic flux and the current is nonlinear. When the current reaches a certain level, the magnetic flux will no longer increase, so materials with high magnetic saturation flux density should be selected as the magnetic conductor.
7. Non-working air gap
Reducing the size of the non-working air gap can not only improve the dynamic response characteristics of the solenoid valve, but also help reduce power consumption and prolong the working life of the solenoid.
8. Spring
During the opening process of the solenoid valve, the spring force is the reaction force for opening, and during the closing process of the valve, the spring force is the driving force for closing. Therefore, in the case of a certain stroke, the choice of spring stiffness must take into account the two processes of valve opening and closing, and choose an appropriate stiffness coefficient.
