Air compressor, also known as air compressor for short, is one of the most important power equipment in various industrial enterprises. The function of air compressor is to compress air and increase the pressure, and then use it as a power source. It is a machine that uses the principle of air compression to produce compressed air exceeding atmospheric pressure. The compressed air is transported to various factory workshops through pipelines to meet the air source needs of control instruments and automation devices, tool replacement in machining centers, etc.

It is generally composed of several structures:

1. Compression structure part: It is composed of cylinders, pistons, intake valves and other components. There are 4 valve holes on the cylinder block and cylinder modification.

2. Transmission mechanism part: It is composed of pulleys, crankshafts, connecting rods and crossheads. The rotational motion driven by the motor is converted into reciprocating linear motion through the transmission mechanism.

3. Sealing part: The first and second cylinder seals are composed of a set of packings respectively. The sealing ring and piston rod are clamped and sealed by the preload of the tension spring and the gas pressure.

4. Lubrication system: The lubrication system in the transmission mechanism is composed of an oil pump, a filter. Oil filter and a pressure gauge.

5. Cooling part: It is composed of cooling water pipe, intercooler and aftercooler. The cooling water enters the intercooler from the main water inlet pipe for cooling, and after being discharged, the cooling water enters the water chamber of the first and second stage cylinders respectively.

6. Pressure reducing valve and pressure control system: The pressure reducing valve and pressure control system control the exhaust pressure of the compressor to operate within the predetermined operating range. When the pressure in the tank exceeds the specified value, the compressor stops sucking and makes the compressor run without load to reduce power consumption.

7. Safety protection part: It is composed of safety valve and electrical protection respectively. When the discharge pressure exceeds the specified value, the safety valve opens automatically. The safety valve is divided into primary or secondary safety valve, and the opening pressure of the primary safety valve is 0.24-0.3Mpa.
